Abu Dhabi, Aug. 20 (WAM) His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Al Watan Fund, affirmed that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, places his trust in the youth of the UAE because he believes they are the real wealth of the country and the builders of its glory.
His Excellency said: We learned from the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – that striving, insistence and perseverance with self-belief and adherence to high human values is the way to achieve all goals and conquer the impossible, and on this path, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him”, has achieved for the UAE the renaissance, growth and prosperity that many around the world could not achieve, so that under his wise leadership, the country is an example and a model in progress and progress and concern for human values, and the sons and daughters of Zayed must continue their ambition, work, self-esteem, endeavor and initiative to achieve all of their goals.
This came during his meeting yesterday with the graduates of the Josoor International Program, who attended the 12-week training program that included theoretical training in the branches of major German companies in the UAE, and passed the practical training in the factories of these international companies in Germany, amid praise from their managers and experts for the capabilities of UAE nationals and their ability to coexist and absorb the latest technological methods in the engineering and technical fields.
The 25 students honored included 10 from Khalifa University, 10 from United Arab Emirates University, 3 from Higher Colleges of Technology, and 2 from the American University of Sharjah
The meeting was attended by the trainers and administrators of the Josoor International Program organized by Al Watan Fund, Abu Dhabi, HE Yasser Al Gergawi, Director General of Al Watan Fund, and a number of members of the Fund’s Board of Directors and supervisors of the program.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak expressed his happiness with the outstanding success achieved by the distinguished sons and daughters of the UAE in this pioneering program, which is the first intensive training program organized in the field of industrial technology in Germany, in cooperation between Al Watan Fund and major German partnerships in this field, stressing that the Fund provided these graduates with the full opportunity to learn and train in advanced German factories and benefit from the great experiences of German industry sectors, as part of the Fund’s strategic objectives to effectively contribute to the realization of the vision of His Highness the President of the UAE.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak explained that Al Watan Fund will remain keen to provide the opportunity for outstanding UAE university graduates to join this pioneering program, which provides them with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies through training and living within major German partnerships, which enables the nation’s youth to develop their capabilities and expertise to face the various challenges that the labor market is overcrowded with.
He said that the Jusoor International Program is an example of the efforts and initiatives undertaken by Al Watan Fund to empower the sons and daughters of the nation and develop their potential in various fields to be ready to launch in the local and global labor market, stressing that the Fund’s initiatives adopt the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, who places the sons and daughters of the UAE at the top of his priorities as the builders of the nation and the creators of its future.
