Description

This initiative equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential skills to start and run a business. This program guides participants through the entire entrepreneurial process—from developing an idea to transforming it into a practical solution and launching a business.

Over the course of the program, participants gain hands-on experience in business planning, innovation, and pitching. The initiative culminates in a final event where participants present their business ideas to a jury. The top three teams are awarded AED 100,000 each in funding, along with continued coaching to help them take their ventures to the next level.

There is no cost to join the program, making it accessible to anyone ready to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria

You are a UAE National with a UAE Family Book

This initiative is open exclusively to UAE nationals possessing a family book.

You can Attend Training in Person

Participants must commit to attending most of the training sessions physically, fostering hands-on learning and engagement.

You are 18 Years of age or older

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Students are also encouraged to apply.

You may apply Individually or in Teams of 2-3 People

Applicants can choose to apply either individually or as a team of 2-3 members. Individual applicants will be grouped with other participants at the start of the program.

Since the main target groups are Youth and Women that desire to become entrepreneurs and since many of them are outside the big cities, it is likely that the best opportunities they can tackle are related to the development of the local economy, hence developing and preserving a know-how that is close the core Emirati Human values. Enhances the key Emirati economic characteristics of productivity, enterprise, and openness.

Increased numbers of Emirati entrepreneurs contributing to the UAE’s economy. The intangible benefit of this initiative is that it will develop more diversity in the Entrepreneurial eco-system and its capabilities, by exposing individuals to different types of entrepreneurship models (Tech Startup, SME, Collaborative Entrepreneurship).

Its Uniqueness

Uniqueness of this initiative is that it provides a dual know-how development by combining entrepreneurial skills development with the immersive approach often taken in apprenticeship programs. In addition, the intention to deliver this both as summer camps and evening classes allows the program to scale up going forward.
