Undergraduate Student Research Initiative
Description
The Student Research Award competition seeks to inspire senior undergraduates to undertake graduation projects centered on sustainability and national identity. Students are encouraged to explore a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the circular economy, climate change, social sustainability, Arabic and Islamic studies, cultural heritage, and the natural environments of the Emirates. Through engagement in these areas, the competition aims to foster a sustainable mindset and deepen appreciation for the intrinsic value of nature and culture, both of which are vital to national identity. This annual event provides a platform for students to demonstrate their research capabilities while contributing to meaningful advancements in sustainability and the preservation of national heritage.
